About the Founder

First Steps Agency, Inc. is the brainchild of President/Founder Inger McCrorey-Parker. As a working mother of two young children, Ms. McCrorey-Parker is no stranger to the ongoing dilemma parents face when seeking quality childcare. Experiencing the need for a reliable, dependable, competent, and trustworthy nanny is what led her to create First Steps.

An accomplished businesswoman, Ms. McCrorey-Parker has more than 15 years of managerial experience, including a decade of performance-based advancement in the pharmaceutical industry where she was responsible for a team of 16 within the Marketing Operations and Communications group, as well as liaising with over 20 outside consultants. This team was charged with delivering results on numerous cross-functional operations. She is a self-described "process-oriented and results-focused leader with advanced problem-solving and leadership capabilities."

Ms. McCrorey-Parker holds a BS degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School and an MBA from the New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business.

Ms. McCrorey-Parker resides in Westchester County, New York with her husband and family.
